From an absolute perspective, the definition of engineering is:

“The creative application of scientific principles to design or develop structures, machines, apparatus, or manufacturing processes, or works utilizing them singly or in combination; or to construct or operate the same with full cognizance of their design; or to forecast their behavior under specific operating conditions; all as respects an intended function, economics of operation and safety to life and property.”

But at Norca Creator Lab, we believe there is an additional element of creativity that must be incorporated to problem solving that highlights the ingenuity that is required, which goes above and beyond the absolutist definition. In many ways this can be seen as an Art, and we think that the blending of problem solving with artistic creativity that the Renaissance period elevated should make a cultural return.
